AAP did a factcheck on a similar story five weeks ago and determined the new camps being constructed were for returning travelers only. Five weeks seems to be the difference between accepted truth and conspiracy these days.
The Northern Territory Chief Minister just announced that the Aboriginal communities of Binjari and Rockhole would go into the hardest lockdown yet imagined — residents can no longer leave for the five reasons, including food and essential supplies, and dozens have already been taken to the camps.
Zero Hedge did a piece on this.
According to the Chief Minister’s Facebook page, 38 residents have been transferred to quarantine camps already and more will be transferred as testing and contact tracing identifies more at risk people.
Of course, they are all cooperating because they don’t have a choice. Stay in the community without access to food and essential supplies. or go to an air conditioned quarantine camp where we’ll look after you.
It’s the same sort of cooperation you get with people voluntarily agreeing to participate in a science experiment to keep their jobs.
I do wonder what would have happened if this had been a white community. Would 38 white people in Darwin agree to jump in the back of army trucks for transport to the camps on the basis of being potential contacts of a Covid positive person?
And would the Chief Minister dare to lockdown larger communities (these only had 320 residents in total) and ban them from access to food and essential supplies, and even from feeding their own livestock?
Everything seems reasonable when he says it in person or in a Facebook post. But then again, so did the reasons behind the stolen generation.

Incidentally, the call spread on Smith and Wesson didn’t trade within our purchasing range yesterday, so keep the offer open until the market makers come to the party.
