Following an “emergency” meeting in Canberra, Australia’s state premiers came out even more strongly in favor of vaccine boosters than ever before.
As usual, Prime Minister Scott Morrison played the role of pretending to be fighting against the state premiers not giving an inch on one issue while throwing in the towel on another.
Specifically, he totally capitulated on vaccine mandates and Western Australia’s Premier Mark McGowan wasted no time in describing the vaccines as a 3-dose drug rather than a 2-dose drug. Everyone who got vaccinated in Western Australia more than six months ago has been declared “unvaccinated” and needs to get a booster to return to work.
He’s also working on the scaremongering and has sealed Western Australia tight against high risk states, which means the entire world.

Victoria’s Dan Andrews has been uncharacteristically slower to come on board — perhaps because of the more visible protests and residual anger at the premier ordering the police to fire on protesters. Or maybe because he’s gone “on leave” while facing charges of treason and is trying to avoid that pesky 25-year prison sentence.
Nevertheless, he’s teamed up with the New South Wales government to press for shortening the time from on booster shots from five months to three. That would go through Australia’s 280 million shots on order in 3 years and Moderna’s factory in Victoria would be ready to run at capacity.
Strangely, Moderna (MRNA) shares fell and and you would have been able to open the 3-contract position on the Moderna June 2022 300/350 vertical call spread for 15.10 or $4,530 for the 3-contract position.
As usual, the press doesn’t even question why politicians should determine in the dosage of an experimental drug.
Looking at the spin on CNN and BBC, the global news rooms are clearly prepping the world for “3, 4, 5, 6 boosters… how ever many it takes out of an abundance of caution.“
Some pundits in the press and in South Africa have been claiming that the Omicron variant, which is about as dangerous as a common cold, will end of the pandemic. They clearly don’t understand this pandemic.
On CNN, the messaging is that “early indications are that it may be less deadly than Delta, but it’s not clear yet whether it is indeed less serious, or in fact more deadly.”
The messaging is clear and the narrative will continue to err on the side of caution and get jabs in arms.
Predictably, new studies discovered that previous infection (natural immunity) and 6-month past vaxxed offer less than 20% protection against Omicron compared to over 80% triple jabbed.
Given how many people are getting Omicron and the normal rate of death in the US (around 10,000 per day), it’s clear that a lot of Americans will soon be dying with Omicron. These will of course be either unvaccinated or “breakthrough” cases of people who were fully vaccinated six months ago but hadn’t received their booster shots.
Soon it will the the pandemic of the procrastinators.
This should last until the next “variant of concern” arrives on schedule in May, although it may be discovered earlier if people stop panicking and don’t get their booster shoots.
